We've been invested in the off-kilter, and often dark, musings of Mellah for a good 3 years now. Returning with the deceptively wholesome-sounding 'Family Fun', the thoroughly entertaining accompanying video sees the Peckham-based songwriter living his gameshow host fantasy in a colourful reinterpretation of Family Fortunes circa 1987. Sonically 'Family Fun' feels significantly more uplifting than the likes of 'Paseo', 'Cigarette Lighter' or 'What It Is' as sharp, krauty beats snap against more whimsical layers of guitar, synth and even cello.
